    Fun isn't it. I was on a wild goose chase all last week trying to find a pumpkin in Paris, finally a friend who had gone to some sort of pumpkin farm gave me one. I always insist on carving a pumpkin every year even though we are the only household for miles who has one. I hope you saved the seeds and roasted them afterwards, that's one of the best parts!

    Yours was/is wonderful.
    When we lived on LI and had a porch and the children were small, we made lots and put them all round.
    Ah the lost days of domestic godessdom.....
